ROBIN HATHAWAY’S BIG MOUTH BLUES BAND won the 2024 Boston Blues Society International Blues Challenge and represented RI and Boston in Memphis this past January. Formerly known as “Robin Hathaway and Friends” with a rotating guest lineup of some of the region’s biggest blues names, having played all over the state.
Hathaway was a featured act at the 2021 International Juke Joint festival in Clarksdale, MS (just seen on CNN) with one of three shows featuring blues giant, “Kingfish”
She was previously acquainted in the scene with her former bands 5 Flavor Discount, Whole Lotta Heart, Hope Rd, Rockin Soul Horns, and others. She has also been a featured guest for the Blushing Brides and Big Nazo, having shared the stage with George Clinton of Parliament Funkadelic.
Robin’s current blues show is a heartfelt mix of blues, blues rock, and soul, with a handful of originals as well as thoughtful covers. High energy show with crowd engagement and variety
