On March 6th 2024, Ted Sorlien (front man for the band The Water Project) played a few songs at the Pump House Music Works open mic hosted by Matt Fraza. It was a great night of music and inspired Ted to hit the road on a journey to attend and participate in every single open mic in the state of Rhode Island. Little did Ted know that there are over 40 open mics to get to in all four corners of the state including one on Block Island. He made it to 30 of them and promises to get to the last 10. All those nights out he met a lot of really amazing musicians and has invited some of his favorites to showcase there talents at the Pump House on Saturday, September 21st. Ted will be playing his music along with his daughters Hannah Jane and Sarah. Ted’s band The Water Project will wrap up the night. We hope to see you there.
