Undercover Cameo with Nora Meier

  • Pump House Music Works 1464 Kingstown Road South Kingstown, RI, 02879 United States (map)

Lucas Neil and Olivia Charlotte are undercover cameo. Considered by many to be the best rising folk act in Rhode Island, the duo has appeared as opening acts for Josh Rouse, The Carleans, Kat Wright, Ryan Montbleau, Will Evans, Nick Bosse, and The Wolff Sisters and has gained entry into The Rhode Island Folk Festival, Hartbeat Music Festival, Next-Up Music Festival, Mystic Folkways Festival, and more.

Although the duo has thus far only released solo material respectively, They are currently working alongside Rhode Island native and celebrated musician, Glenn Thomas, on new original music as a duo.

Nora Meier is a diehard music fan, a frequent moviegoer, a daughter of two English majors, an Oregonian at heart, a verbal processor, a big reader, extremely stubborn, and always writing. She was raised on her dad’s curated mixtapes and epic vinyl collection, which cultivated her deep love for the format of The Album and an obsession with Bruce Springsteen.

Her very own debut album was born during a full moon / lunar eclipse on a farm in Connecticut with the help of some of her favorite musicians. Eleven songs were tracked in seven days, interspersed by basketball scrimmages, deli trips and walks around a big field. The album was produced and mixed by Charles Dahlke (The Brazen Youth) and is currently being polished until it shines, after which it will be delivered straight to your ears in October of 2024.
